A 5-gallon water jug holds 18.9 liters. That entire volume depends on one small cap for sealing. The margin for error is tiny. Taizhou KENI Mould Co., Ltd. offers this product with a hot runner as the main design. This ensures stable molding for large caps. Cavity options are 8, 16, or 24. We recommend 16 or 24 cavities for most customers. Cycle time is 12 to 18 seconds per shot. Hot runner gives about 12 seconds. Cold runner takes about 18 seconds. The mold fits 250T to 350T injection machines. For 24 cavities, we recommend 350T. The cavity and core use S136 steel. Hardness is HRC 48 to 52. The mold base uses P20 steel. Tolerance is ±0.02mm. Surface finish is Ra ≤0.4μm. This 5 gallon cap mould lasts at least 1,000,000 shots. High-quality builds can reach 3,000,000 shots.
